GO-Ahead Given For Pizza Chain To Open Greenock Outlet

27 July, 2022 | Local, Planning

INVERCLYDE planners have agreed that empty shop premises at Greenock’s retail park can be turned into a Papa John’s pizza takeaway.

They have approved a planning application submitted for part of unit five at the Waterfront shopping area, between JD Gyms and Home Bargains.

Permission had already been given for the building to be divided into two cafe/restaurant units.

Now the retail park owners have secured agreement that one of those spaces can function as a takeaway only.

Documents lodged with the council planning department show that Papa John’s has been lined up for the unit.
