HOUSING association River Clyde Homes has been given permission to create a community garden.
The proposal approved by Inverclyde Council planners involves land in front of former garages at Bay Street, Port Glasgow.
Drawings indicate that hedges will be planted along parts of the boundaries of the site and there will be planters of various sizes plus benches.
