INVERCLYDE Women’s Aid has launched a Galentine’s Day appeal to raise funds for garden furniture.

The organisation hopes to create a peaceful and therapeutic outdoor space at its refuge, for women and children to enjoy.

Inverclyde Women’s Aid is dedicated to supporting women, children, and young people affected by domestic abuse.

Galentine’s Day, which falls on 13 February, is a day to celebrate and uplift the importance of female friendships.

Individuals, businesses, and the community as a whole are being invited to donate to the appeal online.

“We are immensely grateful for the generosity and support of our community,” said Linda Harkin, director of Inverclyde Women’s Aid.

“Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact and together, we can empower and offer hope to those who need it most.”
