FURTHER Arrest Over Death Of Greenock Man

DETECTIVES have arrested and charged another man in connection with the death of Robert Best in Inverclyde.

The 39-year-old is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.

Four men, aged 25, 36, 44 and 51, and two women aged, 41 and 64, were previously arrested and charged as part of the investigation and have appeared in court.

Mr Best’s body was found in a field near High Mathernock Farm, Kilmacolm on Tuesday 11 November last year. He had been reported missing from Greenock on the same day. Extensive police inquiries took place at a property in Lansbury Street in relation to the death.

Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing.
