INVERCLYDE Council is hoping to get Government funding to provide more facilities for disabled people who cannot use standard accessible toilets.
Officials are applying to the Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund.
If successful, facilities would be provided at three sites: external modular units at Battery Park and the Waterfront Leisure Centre, and internal space at the Southwest Community Hub on Grieve Road.
