COMMUNITY groups in Greenock can apply for funding to help them ask the people of the town about their regeneration priorities.
Greenock Town Board is developing a long-term plan to set out how to make use of £19.5 million UK Government funding being provided over the next ten years.
As part of this, a Community Engagement Fund has been set up.
Funding of up to £1,000 is available to constituted local groups operating in Greenock to organise an activity or event which asks people what their needs and priorities for the town are.

Drop-in sessions for more information on the fund and how to apply are taking place:
Greenock Central Library: Thursday 2 October, 5.30pm to 7pm.
South West Library: Thursday 2 October, 5.30pm to 7pm.
Closing date for applications is Friday 10 October and the activities/events must be completed by Monday 27 October.
