FULL Steam Ahead For Waverley Summer Sailings Including Rare Ardrishaig Call

14 June, 2021 | Clyde Shipping

PADDLE steamer Waverley’s initial Clyde 2021 timetable has now been published including a busy programme of trips from Greenock.

The schedule covers sailings from 24 June until 22 August.

Greenock is included in the first trip, on Thursday 24 June, cruising Loch Long to Arrochar and Loch Goil.

On subsequent Thursdays (from 1 July to 19 August), Waverley will sail from Greenock to Largs, Millport and Brodick, cruising to Pladda and round Holy Isle.

On four Saturdays (3 July, 17 July, 31 July and 14 August), there will be cruises from Greenock to Dunoon and Tighnabruaich.

A number of Sunday cruises will involve Greenock including Waverley’s first visit to Ardrishaig for many years, on 15 August, arranged by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society (Scottish Branch).

Other Sunday trips take place to Rothesay and round Bute on 27 June, 11 and 25 July and 22 August.

Sailings are planned beyond 22 August and will be confirmed later, once physical distancing restrictions are known.
