FLOODED Greenock Shop Opening At Temporary Premises

14 April, 2022 | Business, Local

BABY and young childrenswear shop Cradle Care has secured a temporary base to trade from following a flood.

It will open on Friday (15 April) at a former insurance office at 127 West Blackhall Street, Greenock just along from its usual premises.

Joint owner and partner, Chris Jewell said: “We have been very keen to get open again and look forward to seeing our regular customers and others at the new location.

“This has been a particularly bad time to have been flooded and we are very glad that premises just along the road were available.”

The flood two weeks ago was caused by a boiler in the flat above. The fire brigade was called to pump the water away.
