Inverclyde Now Logo EXHIBITION About Baptist Church History In Greenock

A DISPLAY of information, documents and pictures about the history of the Baptist churches in Greenock takes place in June.

It is being held in Greenock Baptist Church’s building in St Andrew Square, which has just re-opened following extensive renovation.

The exhibition will cover from the founding of Orangefield and George Square Baptist Churches to the amalgamation and formation of the united congregation, to the recent building developments.

The history and work of all three buildings in spreading the gospel will be explained.

Refreshments will be available and members of the congregation will share the vision for the church in the community in the 21st century.

Entry is free. The display is open from 2 till 4pm on Tuesday 5 June, Wednesday 6 June and Thursday 7 June. It is open from 7 till 8.30pm on Thursday 7 June.
