Inverclyde Now Logo EAST End Church Want To Use Empty Office Unit For Services

4 November, 2020 | Local, Planning

A GREENOCK church has applied for permission to use a vacant office as a place of worship.

The East End Church Of Scotland congregation wants to hold Sunday services, and occasional weekday worship, at the premises at 49 Belville Street, off Serpentine Walk.

It would also become a base for family and children’s craft activities, children’s holiday clubs, a youth club (run by invitation), a drop-in community cafe and administration.

The change-of-use proposal is pending assessment by Inverclyde Council planning officials.
