GREENOCK businessmen Sandy and James Easdale have made a major property acquisition in Renfrewshire.
The brothers have secured 76,000 square feet of prime industrial space and seven acres of land at Meadowside Industrial Estate marking a significant step in their rapidly expanding regional portfolio.
This latest acquisition increases the Easdale portfolio in Renfrew to more than 126,000 square feet.

Sitting adjacent to the Renfrew bridge, which opened in May 2025, the newly acquired industrial estate has been secured for an undisclosed sum, with Breck Property Consultants helping to broker the deal.
The site has been acquired from regeneration specialists Peel Waters. It is adjacent to other Easdale-owned sites at Neil Street Industrial Estate, which is home to Clyde Metal Recycling, also owned by the Easdale family.
Property firm Bowman Rebecchi is supporting the overall letting and management of the Easdale’s expanding industrial portfolio.
Sandy Easdale said: “Securing an additional 76,000 sq ft at Meadowside Industrial Estate aligns perfectly with our long-term strategy for Renfrewshire.
“We are pleased to conclude this deal and expand our presence in a location where we already have strong, established interests. The units, along with excellent tenants such as StageHire Scotland, represent another high-quality addition to our broader portfolio.
“This acquisition rounds off another strong year for our group. We continue to evaluate a range of opportunities across the UK and remain committed to investing in assets that support local employment, stimulate business growth and deliver long-term value.”

James Easdale added: “Our growing footprint in Renfrewshire reflects our confidence in the local economy and the wider industrial market.
“Meadowside Industrial Estate is a well-established hub with strong occupier demand, and this acquisition strengthens our ability to support the businesses operating there. We are proud to continue investing in assets that underpin long-term growth for the region.”
Brian Lavalette, property director for Scotland at Peel Waters, said: “We’re really pleased to complete on the transaction with the Easdale brothers.
“This is the fourth deal Peel Waters have done with Sandy and James and we commend them on how swiftly and professionally they have worked with us on this sale. We look forward to seeing the progress of the site and wish them the best of luck with their future plans.”
The Easdale business empire continues to diversify across property, construction, transportation, manufacturing and leisure. Current residential and commercial schemes led by the group have a combined estimated value of £850 million.
