HEROIN valued at £1,200 was allegedly found in a vehicle stopped by police in Greenock.
Officers pulled over a car being driven by 20-year-old man in Hope Street around 7pm yesterday (Thursday).
He was charged with drug-related offences and is scheduled to appear at court on a later date.
Area commander Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: “I am disappointed that individuals continue to believe it is acceptable to be in possession of illegal drugs in Inverclyde.
“My message is clear — if you are in possession of such substances you should expect to be caught and charged by the local officers here in Inverclyde.”
