THREE men have been arrested after a disturbance in Greenock that police say may be connected to the discovery of a body in a field.
Officers were called to Lansbury Street, Gibshill around 2.45am and the area has been sealed off all day.
Three men, aged 51, 45 and 44, were arrested in connection with alleged assault.
Extensive police enquiries are ongoing.
Police Scotland said that detectives are investigating whether the incident is linked to the discovery of a man’s body in a field near High Mathernock Farm, near Kilmacolm, around 9.20am on Tuesday.
