MORTON suffered a heavy defeat to Arbroath in the last game of the season.
The Greenock side lost the away match 3:0 and finished seventh in the Championship.
Arbroath were second, just two points behind league champions Kilmarnock.
Morton won nine of their 36 matches, drew 13 and lost 14.
