TWO men were seriously assaulted in the same area of Port Glasgow within a few hours.
A 52-year-old man was attacked within a property in the Highholm Street area shortly before 9.40am today (Wednesday).
And a 29-year-old man was then seriously injured outside a property on Highholm Street around 12.35pm.
Both were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, for treatment.
Detective Inspector Neil Martin said: “We’re carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances.”
Anyone who was in the area around the time of either assault or who has any information which could assist or dash-cam, doorbell or CCTV footage, is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 0792 for the first incident and 1368 for the second, both 29 March.
