DESIGNS Revealed For Outdoor Seating Plan At Gourock Venue

23 November, 2022 | Business, Local

CONSULTATION is underway over proposals for an outdoor dining area at gap site in Gourock town centre.

Inverclyde Council is considering granting a lease of part of the plot on Kempock Street, between Café Continental and Sainsburys.

How the seating area would look

The tenant — Rowanplan Properties Limited — would build a structure for use as an external dining and drinks area.

Plans drawn up by Rebecchi Architectural show an area with four tables.

The council states it is keen to hear the views of the community so these can be considered when a decision is reached on whether or not to proceed.

Consultation is required because the site is part of the district’s common good estate.
