THE Watt Institution in Greenock will reopen to the public on Wednesday 28 April.
Opening hours will initially be Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 2pm.
The McLean Museum and Art Gallery area of the complex in Kelly Street will be open on a drop-in basis, although Inverclyde Council warn it may be necessary to restrict numbers in the building.
The venue’s exhibition programme is to re-start in 2021, with “Greenock and the Sea”, guest curated by Dr Emma Bond of St Andrews University, opening soon.
The Watt Library will be open by prior appointment only.
