GREENOCK’S pre-season warm-up matches against other club sides have all been washed out by wet weekend weather.
Fixtures against West of Scotland (19 April), Helensburgh (26 April) and Hillhead (27 April) all had to be cancelled because of rain.
Only the intra-club match on Sunday 20 April beat the weather.
But with the forecast for the week ahead looking promising, Greenock will hope that both opening league fixtures, the 1st XI match v Kilmarnock at Glenpark and the 2nd XI match v Galloway at Gatehouse of Fleet, will take place this coming weekend.
