GREENOCK’S final Western Premiership One match of the 2023 season was called off as the ground was wet from rain earlier in the week.
The game was due to be played on Saturday against Uddingston at Glenpark.
Despite it being a pleasant, dry day the match was cancelled as the ground had failed to recover following heavy rain that had fallen during the week.
The second half of the season was badly blighted by wet weather.
All of Greenock’s nine matches from the beginning of July were rain-affected with five either cancelled or abandoned and only four managing to be completed.
Greenock are relegated to play in the Western Premiership Two next season.
