PASSENGER Cut Free After Crash In Greenock’s West End

EMERGENCY services were called to a collision in the West End of Greenock.

A car and a van were involved in the crash on Thursday around 3pm at the junction of Newton Street and Forsyth Street.

One of the passengers was trapped in the car and needed to be cut free.

Both drivers and a passenger were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police inquiries continue. No one has been charged at this time.
