A FREE family event to mark the start of Advent takes place at a Greenock church this weekend.
Ready Steady Advent is being held at Lyle Kirk, Union Street, on Saturday (26 November) from 11am to 1pm.
It will feature crafts, biscuit-making, Christmas treats, soup, sandwiches and activities.
It has been organised by the Lower Clyde Local Mission Group.
