A LIST of Inverclyde roads to get surface improvements over the next 12 months has been drawn up by council officials.
Around £1.7million is to be spent on resurfacing and large patching work, £500,000 more than in 2025/26.
Work on the programme is due to take place in the 12 months from the start of April.
A report to councillors states that the priority investment list for carriageways has been compiled based on how important the road is and through analysis of results from the Scottish Road Maintenance Condition Survey, local knowledge of defective lengths of carriageway, number of complaints, accident statistics, liability claims, and public, councillor, and other requests.
