BRANCHTON Community Centre, Greenock is holding a fun day on Saturday 29 July from noon to 4pm. Attractions will include a circus school, photo booth, DJ, face painter, carnival games, crafts, bouncy castle and soft play. Entry is free.

GREENOCK'S fire station museum is open to the public from 10am to 4pm each day from Saturday (15 July) to Tuesday (18 July), to coincide with cruise ship visits. The museum is in the old fire station at the Municipal Buildings, Wallace Place, just off Dalrymple Street.

PORT Glasgow Comet Festival takes place in Coronation Park on Saturday 12 August from noon until 5pm featuring a music stage, funfair, a children’s entertainment tent with workshops and face-painting and local community and charity stalls. Entry is free.
