Inverclyde Now Logo BRAVE Greenock Youngster Gets Teddy Bear Back

7 September, 2017 | Noticeboard

A BRAVE youngster’s special teddy bear, which was lost in Greenock, has been returned.

Two-year-old son Davis has complex health condition CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia) and was in hospital for six months from birth.

The cuddly toy that was lost on Wednesday is his CDH bear, given out by a support charity for families whose babies have the condition.

His mum Joni said at the time: “It’s really special to us. He takes it everywhere with him.

“It was on his buggy coming home from nursery. It started raining and I put the hood up and it must have dropped in the  Drumfrochar Road area, near St Patrick’s School.”

Davis now has his bear back after someone left it on his doorstep, anonymously.
