MONDAY Night Gourock YAC Matches Called OffWET weather has forced organisers of the Gourock YAC Sevens tournament to call off the first week of fixtures, which were due to take place tonight (Monday 29 May).
A spokesman said: “Heavier rainfall is forcast for this evening so we have decided to postpone tonight’s fixtures.
“We are sorry for the late cancellation, however the conditions underfoot are only going to deteriorate.”
Robert Ahlfeld of Gourock YAC will be at the clubhouse in George Road from 6 to 7pm to process any outstanding late or additional registrations.
The opening fixtures will be re-scheduled for next Monday (5 June).
