THE World Ship Society’s Firth of Clyde branch marks the 50th anniversary of the QE2’s launch at their meeting this week.
Paul Strathdee will give an illustrated talk about the iconic Cunard cruise liner which was launched from John Brown’s yard at Clydebank exactly half a century ago this month.
The meeting is on Thursday (28 September) in Cedars School of Excellence, Ardgowan Square, Greenock, starting at 7.30pm. New members are welcome.
