Inverclyde Now Logo FREE Stone-Carving Workshops With Sculptor In Greenock

FREE stone-carving workshops with sculptor Siobhan Morison continue on Sunday (7 May) in Broomhill, Greenock.

Reclaimed stone from the demolished Drumfrochar Road flats is being used at the sessions which take place at the Art Flat, 12 Broomhill Court, Ann Street, from 12.30 to 2.30pm, followed by an unsupervised lunch break, and then 3.30 to 5.30pm

Participants are welcome to go to one or both sessions.

Further workshops will take place on Sunday 14 May and Sunday 21 May.

The finished sculptures will be placed in the upcoming Broomy’s Bees Garden in Ann Street.

No previous experience is required and the classes are suitable for all ages, although children under 16, must be accompanied by an adult. 

Priority for workshops is given firstly to Broomhill Court residents, then to Inverclyde residents.
