INVERCLYDE Intercessors are holding a half night of prayer about the community and the issues it faces plus the opportunities available to make a difference.

It takes place from 8 o’clock to midnight on Thursday (31 October) in Barnard’s Court Mission, East Hamilton Street, Greenock.

It coincides with a national week of prayer for the UK’s Street and Rail Pastor initiatives operate weekly across 300 towns and cities throughout the UK Prayers will be made for these and other community services.

All are welcome to attend the half night of prayer, and people are free to come and go throughout.

Spokesperson Chris Jewell said: “Whether being a Street or Rail Pastor or simply being a part of the Inverclyde community, we are so aware of the difference prayers can make, in common or very serious circumstances.”
