CHANCE To Join Greenock Coastguard Rescue Team

GREENOCK’S Coastguard team is recruiting for the role of volunteer rescue officer.

The unit responds to various types of incidents around the Clyde coastline including people and vessels in need of assistance, missing persons, and aircraft emergencies.

Team members are trained in various skills including water rescue, mud rescue, advanced first aid and pyrotechnic and ordnance response.

Applicants must stay within 10 minutes of the team’s base at Greenock Fire Station, have a current driving licence, be reasonably fit and over 18.
