AIR Cadets Recruitment NightGREENOCK Air Cadets are holding a new recruit intake and information evening.
It takes place on Monday (13 February) at the squadron’s hall at 26A Ardgowan Street from 7.30pm.
The air cadets are open to young people aged 12 and over.
Activities that the squadron takes part in include music, football, rugby, hockey, hill-walking, flying Grob tutor planes, abseiling, and weekend and week-long camps all over the country.
Those intending to go to the evening can contact Flt Lt Vanda Nicholls on oc.49@aircadets.org or call 01475 723 358 to confirm their seat or just go along on Thursday.
Youngsters should go with a parent or guardian so they can fill out paperwork and sign the forms to permit flying, gliding, adventure training and shooting.
The squadron is also looking for volunteers to help. Those aged 20 years and over who have a couple of nights free a week and would like to find out more can email Flt Lt Nicholls on oc.49@aircadets.org or call 01475 723358 on Mondays or Thursdays between 7 and 9pm.
