PORT Glasgow Library holds its free monthly bedtime bookbug session on Monday (27 March) from 6 to 6.30pm. It features stories, songs and rhyme for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families.

THE B788 Greenock to Kilmacolm road has re-opened following a three-week closure for a Scottish Water project. The road had been due to re-open on Sunday but the closure was extended for one day for road marking to be completed.
