CHILDREN from three classes at a Greenock school are having to self-isolate because of a covid outbreak.

Inverclyde Council confirmed pupils at Ardgowan Primary are affected.

Latest pandemic figures from health authorities show Inverclyde has had 69 positive cases in the past seven days.

The district’s infection rate per 100,000 of the population is 88, well below the Scottish average of 145.
