CHURCH Harvests Planning Permission For Garden

20 April, 2021 | Local, Planning

A GREENOCK church can literally reap what they sow after being given the go-ahead for a community garden.

Inverclyde planners approved an application by Lyle Kirk involving land at the side of their premises in Union Street.

The site is behind 29 Union Street and cannot be seen from the street.

The development will include benches, three large planters and numerous small planters, a shed, and a stage area.

Inverclyde Council officials felt the proposal would have a positive impact in ensuring continued use of the listed building.
