CHRISTMAS And New Year Train Arrangements
TRAIN operator ScotRail has confirmed details of services over Christmas and New Year.
The last trains on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will depart earlier than normal.
As in previous years, no trains will run on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
On Boxing Day, a reduced service will be provided in the Strathclyde region — including on Inverclyde routes. Elsewhere in Scotland there will be no services on Boxing Day.
ScotRail says it will be monitoring service levels and passenger numbers closely throughout the Christmas and New Year period so that more carriages or extra services can be provided if needed.
