BRIDGE of Weir Choral Society are holding a concert in Greenock.
Waves of Light is at St John’s Episcopal Church, Union Street on Saturday 18 April at 7.30pm.
The choir will be conducted by Jennifer Margaret Barker and accompanied on organ and piano by Mark Browne.
The concert will featuring Jolie Yuet Ching Wong on oboe, Annabel Stevens on violin; and Sarah Baker on violoncello.
Soloists are Alexis Renee Ward (Hail, Gladdening Light); Kyle Pederson (Can We Sing the Darkness to Light?); Ola Gjeilo (Lux Beata Trinitas) and Morten Lauridsen (Lux Aeterna).
There will also be a selection of poetry readings on the topic of light.
Tickets cost £12 (Students and under 18s: £5) and are available from choir members, online via Ticket Source, or at the door.
