CHARITY Seek Planning Permission For Expansion

14 November, 2022 | Local, Planning

ADDICTION charity The Haven has applied to increase accommodation at its Inverclyde countryside base.

It’s seeking planning permission for extensions at the facility beside Auchenfoil Road, between Greenock and Kilmacolm, to improve care provided to residents.

There would be seven extra bedrooms (including one for disabled use), plus enlarged kitchen, dining and social space.

Also added would be a laundry room, a shower room, a manager’s office, meeting room and pastoral office.

The Haven has provided a residential recovery programme for men with alcohol or drug addictions for several decades.

The proposal is pending assessment by Inverclyde planners.
