INVERCLYDE’S largest business network, Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce, has made a new appointment to its board.
Derek MacFeate, co-founder of executive recruitment firm MM Search, has joined the board of directors.
MacFeate launched recruitment firm MM Search in 2018, alongside Kenneth Morrice, with the award-winning business operating in the UK and internationally, swiftly becoming Scotland’s fastest growing executive search firm.
He said: “It is a great delight to join the board at Inverclyde Chamber, and I’m excited about our future and how we can develop and support businesses in Inverclyde going forward.”
Derek, who lives in Inverclyde, is a champion of several local businesses and sports clubs, including Greenock Wanderers RFC, where MM Search are the main club sponsor.
Mark Spragg, chamber president, said: “I’m delighted that Derek has joined the board and brings with him a wealth of experience and connections to further support our aims.
“Derek has been a great supporter of the wider Scottish chambers network and we look forward to working closely with him to further progress Inverclyde Chamber.”
