COMMUNITY groups in Inverclyde can apply for grants from the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Cash is on offer to local organisations working with adults (16-plus) to improve and promote good mental health and wellbeing, or to mitigate against the impacts of mental ill health or distress.
The funding is directed towards smaller community groups. Grants of up to £10,000 are available.
It is being administered by CVS Inverclyde in partnership with Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership on behalf of the Scottish Government,
CVS Inverclyde chief executive Charlene Elliott said: “Smaller groups often have deep roots in their communities and can reach out to the people that need support
“This fund recognises the crucial role that the Third Sector plays in supporting and improving the mental health and wellbeing of people living across Scotland.
“Together we want to ensure that people living in Inverclyde are supported to achieve good mental health and wellbeing ensuring that the right help and support is available.”
