CAR Sales Firm Can Drive Ahead With Town Centre Showroom Plan
PLANNERS have agreed that empty premises in central Greenock can be used for car sales.
Inverclyde Council officials approved a change-of-use application submitted by Clyde Cars Ltd for a building at the corner of Jamaica Street at Jamaica Lane.
The premises were last used by a funeral business and, for many years before that, were the base for Elite Office Equipment.
Drawings submitted by Rebecchi Architectural indicate there would be display space for around 25 cars.
