CAMERA Club To Hear From Urban Nightscape Photographer

A PHOTOGRAPHER who specialises in urban nightscapes will give a talk at Greenock Camera Club’s online meeting today (Thursday).

Peter Benson, who also leads workshops, can, when allowed, be found walking along the banks of the Thames in London with his camera and tripod either with clients or just out for his own enjoyment.

During this lecture — “Photography on the Darkside” — Peter will dicuss some of his favourite places for night photography in the UK and abroad, giving hints and tips mixed with a bit of history.

Overseas locations he has visited include cities such as Dresden, Seville and New York.

Club president Campbell Skinner said: “This would be of interest to any photographer from the local area or just anyone who enjoys looking at pictures.”

Newcomers are welcome to join the virtual meeting which starts at 7.30pm.
