GREENOCK Camera Club continues its winter season with its next virtual meeting on Thursday.

Last week, those ‘attending’ enjoyed a quiz and viewed pictures that members had worked on over the lockdown and summer months.

Club president Campbell Skinner said: “It was very interesting to share what areas of interest have encouraged them over the summer as well as the places they have visited to either enjoy themselves or improve their photography.

“It was good to see a fair number of members at the virtual meeting and sharing in conversation.”

He added: “We would like to reach out to the other members who maybe thinking virtual meetings are not for them.

“It is easy to join in through the link and just sit in the background and listen and see the pictures.

“Unfortunately we are in a new world for now and we have no other option and we know people will gain from catching up with us all each week.

“Also, any other local photographers are invited to develop their skills with the club by contacting us to join and share in the interest of photography during this time.”

The meeting, at 7.30pm, is being held via WebEx video-conferencing technology (similar to Zoom). To find out more, email greenockcc.info@gmail.com or visit www.greenockcamerclub.com.
