CAFE Plan For East End Shop Development Is Withdrawn

4 July, 2024 | Local

A PLAN for one of three new shop units in Greenock’s East End to be used as a cafe has been withdrawn.

A proposal involving properties on Kilmacolm Road was submitted to Inverclyde Council in May seeking permission for one unit to be a shop, one to be a hot food takeaway and one to be a cafe.

But the council’s planning portal has now been updated to show that the change-of-use application has been withdrawn by the applicant before a decision had been reached.

No reason is given and it is not clear if a revised proposal will be lodged.
