BRIDGE With Lifts Proposed For Port Glasgow Station

30 September, 2022 | Local, Planning

PLANS have been drawn up to provide full disabled access at Port Glasgow railway station.

Network Rail is proposing to remove the existing footbridge and construct a new one with lifts.

The new bridge would include an access point from the Highholm Street park-and-ride facility.

A new ramp would also be provided at the station’s entrance on Princes Street.
