THE Breast Cancer Ball returns to Greenock Town Hall on 30 September.
It will be the eighth staging of the event which has been a hugely successful, raising more than £97,500 for breast cancer charities so far.
It is held in memory of Christine Thomson, a much-loved and missed wife, mum, sister, daughter, nana and friend, who lost her fight to cancer aged just 51.
To pay tribute to Christine’s generous and selfless nature, #TeamChristine continues to raise money each year to help support people who are facing their own battle with cancer.
There will be a drinks reception and meal by First Choice Catering, prizes to be won during the raffle and auctions, and live entertainment by local band The Lovelles to help everyone dance the night away, all expertly co-ordinated by the host for the evening, Gerry McDade.
There are limited tables remaining for the pink tie event with tickets priced at £45 per person.
