BID To Build Houses On Site In Gourock Blocked By Planners

30 June, 2021 | Local, Planning

PLANNERS have refused permission for a housing development on vacant land in central Gourock.

Two semi-detached four-bedroom homes were proposed for the site on King Street at Royal Street, beside Gourock Baptist Church.

Each was to have had two floors plus attic accommodation.

The planning application made in April by Scott Gage Construction Services has now been rejected by Inverclyde Council officials.

No documents explaining the council’s reasons for refusal have so far been posted on the planning department online portal.
