BID To Build Detached Home In Gourock Is Rejected

25 October, 2022 | Local, Planning

A PROPOSAL to build a detached property at a Gourock housing estate has been refused.

Planners rejected an application involving a grassed area at Dunvegan Avenue, beside the electricity sub-station, near the junction with Brodick Drive.

Inverclyde Council officials said it would mean loss of valuable open space

Forty-four public objections were made regarding the plan.

The two-storey house was to have had three bedrooms.
