ATTEMPT Made To Steal Teenager’s Motorbike

A 16-YEAR-old boy was assaulted by two males who tried to steal his motorbike.

The incident happened on the cycle path near Crosshill Place, Port Glasgow around 5pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The teenager suffered minor injuries.

The suspects are described as each being around 15 or 16-years-old, slim, with dark hair. One was wearing a red t-shirt and the other a grey hoodie.

Detective Constable Laura Sokolov said: “This incident saw a teenager sustain minor injuries and it is vital we trace the individuals responsible.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with any information which may assist us to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time to contact us.”
