
POLICE have made arrests after three men were injured in two alleged attacks in Greenock’s East End.
Officers were called to a disturbance on Belville Street at Kilmacolm Road around 12.40pm today (Sunday).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended and two men aged 31 and 39 were taken to hospital.
“The 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing. The public is asked to avoid the area due to road closures.”

Meanwhile a 41-year-old woman was arrested after a 35-year-old man was alleged assaulted on Belville Street near Morton Terrace around 2.20am on Sunday.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.
