ARREST After Incident Which Left Man Fighting For LifeA 50-YEAR-old man was in a critical condition today (Sunday) after an alleged attempted murder in Greenock.
The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow following several disturbances in Larkfield on Saturday morning around 9.30.
Police Scotland said the incidents happened in Burns Road, Cambridge Road and Norfolk Road.
The man was seriously injured in Norfolk Road at the junction with Broadford Terrace.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
