ARREST After Alleged Unprovoked Assault On Dog-WalkerPOLICE investigated an incident circulating on social media involving an elderly man walking his dog being attacked in Greenock
The unprovoked incident happened on Kelly Street at South Street in Greenock around 8pm yesterday (Wednesday).
A young male allegedly shouted at a 69-year-old man walking his dog, making threats and punching him on the face.
A 27-year-old man was traced, arrested and charged for alleged breach of the peace and assault and is scheduled to appear at court at a later date.
